Alison J. Colvin, Esq. practices primarily in the area of family law.  She is also accepting cases in bankruptcy.  Ms. Colvin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Reno.  Following a career as a paralegal, Ms. Colvin returned to school and graduated from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.  She returned to Reno to be the director of Washoe Legal Services.  

Ms. Colvin has worked for private firms in Reno area before starting her own law practice.  Family law is her primary area of practice.  She has extensive experience as an advocate for abused adults and children.
